Our fragrances are for anyone who is drawn to them. But in particular, they’re for those who love to wear perfume but prefer not to spray themselves with toxic synthetic ingredients. People who are conscious of their environment and mindful of their health.
Our fragrances are not gender-specific. Our philosophy is simple: if you like it, wear it.
Perfumer's Note: I have never been one to view certain essences as masculine and others as feminine. In my view, that’s an outmoded and limiting perception. So when I compose fragrances, gender doesn't play a role in my thinking. My only objective is to create something beautiful that brings people pleasure.
I'm not a fan of rules in perfumery. I don't subscribe to the notion that certain fragrances should only be worn at certain times, or by specific genders. Scent is a beautiful, vital part of life, so wear what you want, when you want to, and enjoy!
Interestingly, it wasn't until the early twentieth century that fragrances began to be marketed separately to men and women. Prior to that, there was no distinction — perfumes were simply created for anyone who wanted to wear them. In recent years, gender-based marketing has become less dominant as more people discover there's no reason to limit themselves when it comes to scent. — Claudia
