Perfumer's Note

You have to admire a flower that grows right up out of the water. And as the saying goes...no mud, no lotus. An aquatic plant that can flourish in the murkiest of ponds, the lotus is rooted in the mud, and its flower rises above the water to unfurl its gorgeous velvety petals.

The flower has a scent unlike any other — an earthy, creamy-sweet aroma that's almost marshy in character. Its singular fragrance is gently intoxicating, inviting the mind into deep relaxation and clarity. The idea of contrasting that serene, meditative energy with its polar opposite — the sensual, hedonistic vibe of leather — is what inspired me to create Lotusland. It's one of my most complex and unusual fragrances. — Claudia
